Question : I have a job interview scheduled in the next day. Though I am confident but still wanted to know how should I prepare myself better for it?
Thanks for sharing your concern.
Preparing for an interview primarily means taking time to thoughtfully consider your goals and qualifications relative to the job. To accomplish this, you can follow these steps –
1. Wear something that is professional and comfortable.
2. Read about the company and what is their vision and mission. Your interviewer will expect you to answer some questions about the company and role you applied for and talk about why you want to take get a job here. Be ready to answer.
3. Being interviewed is a skill and this needs to be practiced. You can rehearse with your friends. Ask them to take your interview and ask the best questions that they have come across.
4. Prepare for some specific questions like – Tell me about yourself. Why do you want to join this company? What attracted you to join this company? What are your strengths and weakness? Where do you want to see yourself in 5 years? Tell me about a challenging situation that you have faced and how you overcome it? Why are you leaving your current job?
Be the best and true version of yourself. Show your professional and mature side in the interview.
You can even ask question to the interviewer in the end if you have any.
