Dear Teentalker,
Thanks for reaching out and sharing your concern.
I am sorry to hear about your health. I wish you a speedy recovery.
I can understand how difficult it is for you to cope with the injury and do what your parents are asking you to do. You have to be very strong dear.
As you shared that dancing is like your passion and you cannot leave it, which is justified.
Although I am assuming that your parents are not allowing you to dance is a temporary thing which is because of the injury and that is okay. If you have an injury for which doctor has advised you to take rest and not to dance for a few days or months then it is for your own betterment so that in future you can continue your dream.
Once your injury is cured and after the doctor's permission you can start following your passion and chase your dream but till then have patience. After taking the doctor's advice, you can probably make your parents understand that you will strictly follow the doctor's advice. You also have to make them understand how much dance matters to you and henceforth you will take good care of yourself while dancing.
If it makes you feel any better and if possible then you can go to your dance class as per your timings and just sit back and watch them. You might not be able to dance physically for now but still, you will learn new things and feel that you are totally disconnected from Dance.
