Dear Teentalker,
Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns.
It is nice to know that you changed your board from ICSE to IB and more so, because you are happy with your decision. But then, you have also expressed concern regarding the IB levels for English which you seem to be finding quite difficult as compared to the ICSE syllabus for English.

You've mentioned about facing difficulties in English, particularly while dealing with segments that test your analytical skills.
So, here are a suggestions which you can possibly use in order to improve your analytical skills.
- Play Brain Games such as Sudoku, Computer Strategy games and chess
- Learn to think deep and ask why at least 5 times before you take a final decision
- Before directly jumping into analysis, make sure you create a protocol or some well-established plan. You can also try using Mindmaps in order to help you create a framework. To know more about Mindmapping, please watch the following video on 'How to get straight A's' by clicking on the following link: https://www.teentalkindia.com/video/explore/career-guidance
- Another way to develop your analytical skills is to seek feedback from classmates and/or friends by participating in various discussions.
