I have been suffering from Multiple Sclerosis for sometime now and cannot walk or run around anymore. I wanted to work in the hotels, but can't do that. What should I do?

Question: I have been suffering from Multiple Sclerosis for sometime now. I had to quit my part-time job at a restaurant as I'm not able to walk or run around anymore. I'm going to be out of my teen phase soon as I turn 20 and I so badly wanted to work in the hotels.The doctor has advised me to take up a desk job and a profession where I will be seated for long hours. I was thinking of pursuing a career in law. What should I do? Teentalker , 19-year-old

Dealing with Multiple Sclerosis that occurs in relapse (the one that comes and goes) can certainly be challenging and hats off to you for being able to maintain a positive attitude despite experiencing so much discomfort.

You're passionate about pursuing a career in hotel management and even took up a job in a restaurant, some years ago to get the required experience. At this juncture, however, since, you cannot move around physically that much; you're looking for a career change; one where you can take up a desk-related professi.....
