Is it fine to take medicines to improve my memory and understanding?

Question: From my past experiences, I have noticed I have low memory and undertanding as compared to others. Is it fine to take medicines to improve my memory and understanding so that I can perform better academically and in my daily life too?   Teentalker

Dear Teentalker,

Thanks for writing to us. I can feel how sad you feel when you compare your performance with others.

Nobody is better at understanding something more or less than anyone else. Each person has their own pace. Just have to break it down to its simplest parts and figure it out- might take time, but eventually everything will make sense. Meds aren't really recommended for making academics easy. I'd suggest you to play puzzles and stuff, that is a fun way to improve memory.

Check on your lifestyle habits, your food intake, any deficiencies that needs to be addressed with suppleme.....
