How can I overcome mirror addiction?

Question : I tend to look in the mirror most of the time. In my bedroom, I have 4 mirrors. I wake up and look at the mirror. Whenever I go for lunch/dinner I have to make sure that I shouldn’t face a window or mirror otherwise I will be distracted the entire time. How can I overcome this mirror addiction?

Mirror addiction or obsessive mirror checking is a common yet unhealthy behavior. Most individuals who have dysmorphic disorder are compulsively drawn to the mirror to check how they are looking. They can spend hours looking at the mirror in a day.

If you are unsure about your mirror checking addiction and if this is something unhealthy for you then you can track your behavior for 7 days.
