Dear Teentalker,
It must be really distressing to see results that don't seem to match with the efforts you're putting in, especially since you gave it your all to make your dreams come true and now your down to not being admitted to any college. It can hurt a great deal and makes you wonder what are you going to do now, given that you've already lost out on a lot of time, since you took 2 drops. Well, getting scared, nervous and thinking negatively is one way of looking at life.

But. as the saying goes, every coin has two sides, so would request you to take this opportunity to think about the way forward from a different perspective. For example, you always said that you wanted to be a doctor? The bigger question is why did you want to become a doctor? To make an impact on society? For money, fame, recognition? To solve health related issues in India? Or are there some other reasons why you wanted to be a doctor, which have not been mentioned over here? I would urge you to write down the reasons and then think of other ways through which some of these goals can be accomplished, because the truth is other modalities through which you can solve people's problems and address health related concerns actually do exist!
So, if not becoming a doctor, then why not consider taking up allied health care professions, psychology, social work or political science? Now, before you say no or think that there is no scope in these areas, I would request you to write down what your long-term goals are. For all that you've been through so far, write down what are some of the valuable lessons learnt so far? What should you do going forward and what not to do? This will give you some much needed clarity.
