Thanks for reaching out.
JEE preparations are very consuming with school, but they are not impossible. I will give you some pointers to keep in mind and follow, which will definitely help you to break through.
Time Management and smart steps- Considering that schools have an attendance criterion of 75%, you must mark the days you have to be present in school. Preferably, choose the days you are being taught the practicals and important chapters. Dedicate a few hours of each day to skim through the chapters and pick out only what you need to remember or learn.
Apart from that, try to finish each day’s work on that day itself so that it doesn’t become an overloaded burden for you. You must remember, quality studies over quantity. You will have to maintain a grade in your assessments, so that you missing classes does not bother your teachers as much. It maybe that a few students pass comments, but we must learn to ignore them since we are on a bigger mission here.
After returning from school, you must allow yourself a nap to regain and recollect yourself. Do nor exhaust yourself. Otherwise you will not be able to give your 100% to any of the tasks.
After your coaching, have dinner and allot the next 1-2 hours for your work/recap.
Over weekends and holidays, study for around 6-7 hours a day, and ensure to retrospect your tests and exams, analyse your mistakes and work on them.
With this, you are also finishing up on your core subjects of school, so should not be of worry.
Do remember to have a sound sleep schedule. Generally, we all need at least 6-8 hours of sleep. This should be made a must. You have to decide the time, be it 10-7am or 12-6am, as per what you deem fit.
About friends and social circle, you must maintain those friends who respect your priorities and help you achieve your goal, that is, JEE. You must not allow anyone or anything to hold you back. Remember that distractions have the power to creep up in most random ways. You may not feel it happening, but you must ascertain yourself. Only you can allow what distracts you.
For a refresher, you should have a good conversation with your family members, incorporate gatherings in your time table of JEE. But never lose focus. After all, it is only YOUR hardwork that will get you past it all.
